This book was published in1886 by Robert Louis Stevenson. He was born in Edinburgh, in Scotland, in 1850. He is known to people as a novelist, a poet and a essayist.
This story is about the life of a man with a double character. Dr Jekyll is a very clever scientist. He invent a special drug to change himself. He has two faces, one is real and the other is false, Mr Hyde. Mr Hyde is a strange-looking man. He is a short, but has a strong, heavy body. He is really evil. He kill some people and doesn't control himself. He looks like a monster. Why did he wish to be someone else?
The theme of this story is changing myself. Do you hate yourself? Do you want to be someone else? I thought no one is perfect person. This story told me importance of accepting personality and also the fear of the drug. I had interest in this book. If you like the mystery story, I will recommend this book. Please read this!
