Sherlock Holmes, a very famous detective all around the world, is made by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Conan Doyle was born in Scotland, 1859. He once was a doctor and then became a full-time writer. He produced many great stories, but Series of Sherlock Holmes made him very popular and famous.
This book includes 6 stories, so I will write about my favorite story 'The man with the twisted Lip'.
Holmes worked and searched for one case. Mrs. Saint Clair, the client of this case, asked Holmes to find her husband. She saw her husband at 3rd floor's balcony in unfamiliar place last Monday. However, it was strange, he was gone in a few seconds. He was never found so police thought Mrs. Saint Clair was crazy. As Sherlock investidated...?
I have watched Sherlock Holmes on TV and I knew this story. However, it was interesting to read but really hard to image the scene as the sentence described. I found that reading novel and watching dramas are totally different! I recommend you to read this to everyone. There is no grotesque desription in Sherlock Holmes novel so I think you can enjoy a lot!
