East of Eden

This story is written by John Steinbeck, one of his famous novels. It is set in California during WWⅡ. Adam is a man who runs a farm and has two sons, Aron and Cal. These two sons’ characters are completely different and do not know who their mother is. Aron is honesty but Cal is not. Because of Aron’s character his father treats him well. One day, Cal finds out his father and asks his farther about his mother. However, he does not answer. This story also has a love story between Aron, Cal and Abra who is Aron’s girlfriend.

You can see love and jealousy, forgiveness and revenge though this story. It is not easy to read but you will see what people truly think inside of their hurts. This story shows us one fail his life and the other lies…. I think this novel has a worth to read.
