Misery

Have you ever read any books of suspense story? And if you like grotesque story, I really recommend you this book. The name is Misery. This story is grotesque and suspense. I think this story should be called “psycho-suspense.”

The protagonist is Paul Sheldon. He is Annie Wilkes’s favorite writer. When she finds Paul badly injured after a car accident, she takes him back to her lonely farm to look after him. At first, she seems kind to him. However he soon realizes he is not patient, but her prisoner. And he tries to escape from her, but…
