     This book was written by Alan Maley, and published in 2009. Theme is family relationship. The scene of this story is Malaysia. A boy Chee Seng who is a sixteen-year-old Malaysian boy. Every thing had been perfect until his sixteen birthday party, but after that every thing changed. When he was child his dad played with him a lot, but  his dad started coming home later and later from the office. On the other hand, his mom's eyes were red and swollen. He knew that she'd been crying immediately. One day, she had to go to Melaka, so she arranged for him to sleep over at his friend Ka Choon's place. However, Chee Seng had a silly argument with Ka Choon and dicede not to stay at his place. When Chee Choon came back to his home, his dad's car was parked but house was darkness. He went to his parents's bedroom, and he saw two bodies one is dad but other is not mom but mom's best friend, Auntie Veena. Then he noticed everything. After that his life fell apart. His mom got a crazy, and Chee Seng was also changed because of shocking. His friends supported him, then he got over the shock a little bit. However he became to distrust anything again. Then he met Ka ting the raining day, and he also met Jessica. She became Chee Seng boyfriend. They often hosted a party. Jessica also had a problem. At the end of the story, Chee Sang's family was going to fix up.


    I like this book. It was interesting. I curioused about consequence, so I couldn't stop to read it. I cannot excue what Chee Seng father did. However the end of the story his father realised what is the most important. Then he tried to fix up family relationship. It's nice ending, I think. What I realised to read this book is all of family member is importatn. It will fall apart even one of family lack. Family makes all of family happy or sad... I recommend you to read this someday!
