This book has many themes including love, money, the American dream, social class and so on. I think social class is a very important theme. The Great Gatsby portrays three different social classes. They are East egg, West egg and Valley of Ashes. East egg is “old money", West egg is “new money”, Valley of Ashes is “no money”. It is very difficult to clear up the theme, and this story has many characters, so I was confused. However this story is very interesting. If you have interest in it, I want you to read this!
