Cold mountain

This story is about a man called Inman.  He had a wife, Aga. They loved each other very much, and had spent wonderful days.  But one day in 1861, he had to leave her.....because of cruelly war, American Civil War.  He said goodbye to her leaving no evidence when he comes back. 

He fought hard but one day he was in the hospital because of his injured.  Then he came up with the idea that he escaped from the war. But that is waht every soldier think.  Many volunteers seek if they try to run away. If they find someone are leaving, they kill them no matter what the reason is.  Many soldier were afraid of it but Inman decided to start long way on foot.  He was not sure if he could go home, where Aga was, alive.  Could he live alive?? The war lasted until 1865. Do you think Aga could recognize hin and have wonderful life with him just like they used to have?


The story is quite long.  It tells how strong Inman and Ada's love was and how terrible the war was.  The story is not the all of the war.  I mean there should be more stories for each person.  This book is one of them.  At the time many women should have experienced such feelimg and so have men.  Not knowing if the partner is alive or not is must be something.  I don't even know which word should I put.  "Cold mountain " is also the movie.  I want to see it if I have chace to do so.
