Through the Looking Glass

This story was written by Lewis Carroll who wrote ‘Alice’s Adventure series’. ‘Through the looking glass’ is the second story of the series. First one is really famous, ‘Alice in wonderland’.

Alice often imagines of her dream, wish and so on. This time, she wanted to get into the mirror. I don’t know why, but she got into the mirror as she desired. The mirror world is completely strange for Alice. For example, there were strange twins named　Tweedledum and Tweedledee. They are famous as Disney character, too. And the ground in the world was like chess board. So many squares were there.

It is the story about her journey for becoming queen in the mirror world. Red queen says, if Alice can get to 8^th line of chess board, she will become a queen. Alice wanted to become a queen, so she decided to go on journey. On the way she goes, she met many animals and people. Can she become a queen at last? What lies ahead?

It was an interesting story, but a bit complicating. Each part of short story is not connected to whole story. It was hard for me to read through whole story in a short time. And so many characters are in this story, I got confused easily. So, I don’t recommend it to my class mates. The reason why I don’t recommend it is what I have already written. But if you like fantasy story or you are interested in this, you have to check it out!
