Do you respect Tom?

      I respect Tom when I read the story at the first time. However, as I read it many times, my opinion changed. Now, my opinion is that I don't respect him. Tom has a big dream, and believes his acting dream come true. I think it is good thing. However, he doesn't notice the important of his family and friends. The reason why he could continue to chase his dream is that they always supported him. He should thank them. He didn't notice about that, so he was the despire of them. Probably, he thought they were sometimes unsupportive, but he should listen to their opinions, not just saying his opinion. Moreover, he is 31 years old and a schoolboy at the beginning of the story. To chase his dream is good, but he needs money to practice the play. He should work to chase his dream. These are my opinions. I don't respect him.
