This story is set at the beginning of the twentieth century. The protagonist is Lucy Honeychurch is a young English woman on holiday in Italy with her older cousin, Chrlotte Bartlett, who is acting as her chaperone. They’re staying in Florence at an Italian pension for British guests, but are disappointed with the poor view from their windows. And then, while they’re discussing their misfortune, they’re interrupted by a guest at another table, an Englishman called Mr. Emerson, who has heard their conversation. He and his son, George, are both in rooms that offer beautiful views of Florence, but Mr. Emerson and his son come from a lower social background.
However, she changes her mind about Mr. Emerson’s offer.
Over the next few days, some accident was happened and then she realizes that George is in love with her.
This story is about love, and their human relations became a bit complex.
They gave up by themselves because of her engagement with another person.
But…
When I read the middle of the story, I really interested in this last!!!
I felt sadness, happiness, etc. If you like the love story, I really recommend you.
And also I think watching this movie is nice idea.
