This is the story based on industrial
revolution in England in 1850. The Protagonist called Margaret Hale is a beautiful
and strong woman. Her family used to be a pretty rich and lived in Helstone,
south of England. But one day, they moved to Miltone, north of England where the
city was famous for industrial. After they were moving, their poor life
started. Margaret was getting used be poor mill workers. As she knew about how
poor these workers were, she starts hating their boss, Mr. Thornton. However,
Mr. Thornton fell in love with Margaret. What’s going to be happened to them!?
This is not just a love story. You also can
understand a social problem such as strike. Margaret lost a lot of thing since
she moved to Miltone but she also gained a lot. I recommend this story to the
people who are interested in romance and historical background in England.
