    The author, Victor Hugo it published in 1862.

    In October, 1815, a man, Jean Valjean visited a bishop, Myriel. He wasn't patient his poverty and stole one bread.  Because of that, he arrested and he was in prison for 19 years. The bishop welcomed him warmly.  But his silver dish was stolen by Valjean. Next morning, he arrested again but the bishop protected him and gave him two silver candle stands. He changed his mind and he had promised to the bishop he lived a honest human.

     In 1819, Valjean succeeded his work and became a Mayer. A woman, Fantine worked his company. But four years later, she became a prostitute. Valjean helped her and, for her, he promised to bring back her children, Cosettte.  But Fantine was dead beacause of her sick.

     In Christmas Eve, 1823,  he met Cosette. She was only eight years old but waoked as a household. He paid 1500 Fran for the family and Cosette became free. He ran to Paris with Cosette. And they started to live together at a religious house.

     Some time later, Marius and Cosette were fallen in love. But this love made the people around them in to trouble and ...

     I recommend you to read this book. There are many kinds of love in the world and all of them are wonderful. If you know what is the true love, you should try. Good or bad, heaven or hell... each people have different opinion. What do you think?
