THE RAINMAKER

The Rainmaker’s main character, Rudy Baylor is about to graduate from his law school but loses his first job before he has even started. His friends ask him to help with their fight against an insurance company which has a big power. However their son is sick dying, his claim for medical insurance has been refused. How does Rudy challenge them with a lot of problem?
The Rainmaker is written in 1995 by John Grisham. He is not only an author but an American lawyer. The novel was valued so it became a movie in America in 1997.
I recommend this book who likes thrilling. The story is a bit complicated but realistic. As the author is also an American lawyer, he shows the reality of trial clearly. You can see the system of American judgments and find some differences between American and Japanese ones by reading this book.
